What People Say....

Below is feedback from our clients, partners and volunteers.

The "Taste of Rushmoor" project has been fantastic; it has brought communities together during a difficult period and delivered outcomes that have far exceeded expectations. Thriving Community Project is an incredibly valuable addition to the Rushmoor community."

"I’m proud to volunteer alongside the Thriving Community Project. As part of the organising team for ladies’ recreational football and our Flexi League women’s team, FCT Rec Rebels.  Their sponsorship and support have helped us create an inclusive space where women can play football, build friendships, grow in confidence, and feel part of something positive."

"Thriving Community Projects had sponsored me with my small bracelet business. Nathalie had done an exceptional job in providing me with core items that I would have needed when it came to selling my bracelets.

The sponsorship I received included the grant of being able to utilise multiple stands, which allowed me to display my bracelets uniquely, rather than being unorganised - or look less appealing. She had also provided me with a white table cloth, allowing for my stand to always look more personalised or professional, which is always ideal for fetching customers, whilst also allowing the colouring of my bracelets to pop. In addition to the equipment I was given, I was also granted small fabric bags, commonly used for packing jewellery. This made things much easier for giving customers their bracelets, or for organising bundles where I would need a way to pack the items together, without risk of loss.

Finally, Nathalie was also incredibly friendly and helpful, her support even boosted my confidence in talking to people when they approached my stand - which initially would be a struggle on my own."

"I’ve loved volunteering with the Thriving Community Project. Being part of the organising team for ladies’ recreational football and our Flexi League women’s side, FCT Rec Rebels, has been genuinely life‑enhancing. The project’s encouragement, support, and sponsorship have helped us build a welcoming space where women can enjoy football, boost their confidence, and form meaningful new friendships.  Volunteering has also had a positive impact on my own mental wellbeing. Being surrounded by such a supportive community, sharing moments of joy and connection on and off the pitch, has strengthened my sense of belonging and purpose. I’m grateful to play a part in something that helps women thrive—together."
