Taste of Rushmoor Cookbook Project

'Taste of Rushmoor' is a project in partnership with us and Rushmoor Borough Council.  It forms part of the council's 'Rushmoor Together'  initiative, bringing the community together and encouraging integration.

Food is a great way to unite people and we have members of the community doing cooking at The Vine Centre, Aldershot.

Students from Farnborough 6th Form College are doing the photography of the food, and formatting the cookbook using their graphic design skills.

We are providing workshops in cooking, photography and graphy design by industry professions and are undertaking outreach exercises in the community to source unique and interesting recipes.

The cookbook is not just about food.  It is a celebration of diversity, an appreciation of different communities, and bringing people together from all walks of life, cultures and demographics.  The cookbook will not only show the food and the method to create them, but also the unique stories and history behind the recipes.
